Private Classes

  • Looking for a more memorable bestie reunion, book club, bachelorette party, family gathering, bridal shower, or holiday celebration? A Dot Mandala class offers your group a creative way to slow down, connect, and make something beautiful together. Each class is also an opportunity for mindfulness, teaching participants to breathe to promote focus as they dot. Our sessions are thoughtfully designed, non-competitive, and enjoyable for all skill levels…even complete beginners.

Before the event, I meet briefly with the host to choose a project. Options include: dot mandala stones, mugs, wine glass charms, magnet canvases, wine glasses, inspirational stones, small canvases, drawer pulls, flower pots, coasters, tea lights, ornaments, and more. Sessions are available in 2-hour or 4-hour formats, with all materials are provided. We bring everything to the venue of your choice, so your group can simply arrive, relax, and enjoy dotting together.

Optional take-home dotting kits are available, giving participants everything they need to continue their dot mandala journey at home.

Testimonials

Great pace, modeling, and feedback. I really appreciated the reminders to breathe and that mistakes are ok. It was fun!
— Claudia Z., Cambridge, MA
This was an interesting new activity that was easy to learn and the results were very nice…even with a low level of prior art or crafts experience.
The instructor was very knowledge-able and patient in explaining and showing the techniques.
— Gaby W., Winchester, MA
I liked how Allison set a zen tone right from the start of the class, reminded us to breathe and just enjoy the creativity without worrying about the quality of the outcome. So much fun! Loved the flow, the camaraderie and laughter even while we made mistakes. Glad Allison helped me fix my biggest boo-boos and helped me have grace to accept my smaller mistakes. Can’t wait to use my wine charms.
— Mary-Ann M., Bedford, MA

I liked the focus on relaxation and how customizable the finished product was.
— Adrienne B., Salem, MA
This was so much fun. Allison’s instructions were clear and easy to follow. I liked practicing on lined paper, then progressing to black paper, and eventually painting on a rock. She made very helpful suggestions to my design that made it ever more special.
— Amy G., Marblehead, MA
Very clear process. Constant reassurance and advice on re-directing, when necessary.
